The Students of Colour Collective is an advocacy group of the University of Victoria's Student Society for self identified persons of colour, mixed race, or indigenous heritage. We operate on the traditional and unceded territories of the Lekwungen people, and seek to support and empower students of colour on and off campus in the struggle against colonial oppression founded on race, gender, class, language, and nationality. This resistance is fostered through our engagement in art and activism, collaboration with like-minded organizations, and providing a safe space and support network to students on campus.
